Hi there, and welcome to Walking Washtenaw. This site will feature some of the wonderful places in and near Washtenaw County, Michigan, to get out in and explore nature. It’s our goal to help discover the parks, preserves, and natural areas that make our area so exciting to explore.
With camera in hand, we’ll head out to the backroads and walk the trails to find the best hidden gems. We’ll bring back this information and post about it here, so you will know where the park is, trail conditions, how it’s used, and what amenities (like bathrooms!) are available.
